In October 1995, Sergeant Major Bosley attended boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC.  Upon completion of Marine Combat Training he reported to the Louis F. Garland Fire Fighting Academy, Marine Detachment, Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, TX for training as an Airport Fire Fighter.  

In June 1996, Sergeant Major Bosley transferred to Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Facility, Quantico, VA.  From June 1996 until January 2001 Sergeant Major Bosley served as Turret Operator, Driver, Rescue Man, Assistant Section Leader and Section Leader.

In January 2001, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to Drill Instructor School MCRD Parris Island. He then served as Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor with Hotel Company, and as a Martial Arts Instructor with Instructor Training Company.

In May 2004, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to MWSS-273, MCAS Beaufort, SC, where he served as Assistant Section Leader and Section Leader for Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Section.  During this period he augmented MWSS 271, Bogue Field, NC and deployed to Al Asad, Iraq in support of OIF.

In October 2006, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to MCAF Quantico to serve as the Crash Chief before reporting to Officer Candidate School, in May of 2007. While there he served as Academics Instructor, Sergeant Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, and Company Gunnery Sergeant.

In May 2010, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to MWSS-273 where he performed as Section Leader and Materiel Chief before assuming the billet of Company First Sergeant for Engineer Operations Company.

In February 2012, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA for service as a Company First Sergeant. During this period he deployed to Okinawa Japan in support of the Unit Deployment Program.

In February 2015, Sergeant Major Bosley reported to RTR, MCRD Parris Island, SC for service as a Company First Sergeant for Delta Company and as the First Sergeant of Drill Instructor School.

In January 2017, Sergeant Major Bosley joined Marine Aircraft Group 31. He served as the Squadron Sergeant Major for Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 before assignment to his current position as the Sergeant Major for the Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 533 Hawks.

Sergeant Major Bosley’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 2 gold stars.
